Of course it's the right (VST) path, as per what I wrote: all other audio programs find the VSTs. I'm a computer consultant and IT Manager here in the States. This occurs for both MixPad and WavePad - so I don't think the Trial supports VSTs, but why would I purchase a product that I can't test ? I even created a separate c:\vstpluggins.test folder and put one FabFilter VST2 (dll) in there and it can't find that one either (after I added c:\vstpluggins.test to the VST path) It's unprofessional, insulting and a major time waster to tell Trial users: it supports VSTs when it doesn't and have people think there is something wrong with their computer or VSTs My solution is not to purchase the software(s) or anything from NCH If I don't get (pre-sales) support on this (without having to pay for support - "just to find out if Trials support VSTS or not").
